In the ’90s Berlin was very much TDR™’s second home where we spent a lot of time having ‘business meetings’ with our Berlin friends / Tresor Roster Detroit Techno clients / collaborators in the Tresor club and at e-werk. This is one of a series of painfully limited promo tees we designed for Dimitri Hegemann (Tresor founder) when he was wanting to ‘move on’ from their original logo looking to find a balance between the old and what we were doing for him towards the end of the 20th century. It’s a play on Rust Never Sleeps.
Nowadays you really only see ‘pirate’ / ‘original logo’ tees. This is for those who know.
