The totemic shelving unit showcases the multitude of colours and delicate gradients that can be achieved by adding an anodised finish to metal. The boldly industrial form is made from steel and aluminium to provide a robust structure. The unique multi-hued finish was created using an electrolyte bath that coats the metal surface with an anodic layer. Silo Studio conducted numerous tests to help generate an outcome that showcases the surface treatment’s depth and variation.

The Silo Studio Shelf was originally created for the Relay Design Projects, a platform established by Relay Design Studio to showcase unique and limited edition design with a strong focus on experimentation.
