Founded in Leicester, England in 1936, GYMPHLEX began by producing athletic shorts for the military. By the mid-1900s, the brand expanded into school gym wear, quickly spreading across the UK. GYMPHLEX became widely recognized, outfitting the England National Rugby Team, the polo club once associated with Prince Charles, and elite prep schools such as Eton and Harrow.
