TILAK
Founded in 1986 in the Czech Republic as a sleeping bag manufacturer, Tilak has earned a reputation for its precise craftsmanship and technical innovation. Its garments are trusted by the Czech National Mountain Rescue Service, recognized for delivering reliability and safety in the most demanding environments.







Durable and comfortable fabric construction
The fabric is made by Milliken, the parent company of Polartec and a global developer of specialized military textiles. It combines the lightness and smooth texture of shirting fabric with exceptional durability and wind resistance.

The weave intentionally allows a slight airflow, offering breathability and comfort even in humid conditions.



The collar features a suede-like lining that feels soft and prevents the chill of cold fabric against the skin. Mesh pocket linings provide ventilation, ensuring comfort and airflow during movement.





What is ECWCS?
ECWCS (Extended Cold Weather Clothing System) is a U.S. military layering system designed to adapt to various climates through a combination of parkas, liners, and base layers. It evolved through generations—GEN1 (1985), GEN2 (2006), and GEN3 (current)—with seven distinct insulation levels (1–7) to meet different weather conditions.

This model corresponds to GEN3 Level 5, categorized as a softshell with excellent water repellency and breathability.

Functional and thoughtful detailing
The hood features adjustable cords on both sides and the back, along with a small brim to maintain visibility in the rain.



The shoulder to upper-back area uses a 4-way stretch material known as “Flex,” offering unrestricted movement with a tailored Tilak pattern for maximum comfort. High-durability reinforcement fabric is added to the elbows and cuffs for extra protection in active use.



The jacket features four pockets—two on the arms and two at the waist. Arm pockets are strategically angled for natural access during movement. Each zipper pull is finished with heat-shrink tubing for reliable, smooth operation in all conditions.



A removable patch adds a distinctive accent—a signature detail of Tilak’s military-inspired line.



Freedom to regulate temperature
Underarm zip vents, a double front zipper, and a drawcord hem allow you to control airflow and temperature with ease, keeping comfort consistent through changing activity levels and environments.
