This is excellent, quality Fibrous Malachite that exhibits highly lustrous sprays of well formed needle like crystals and some areas with an undulating, beautifully silky, velvety presence.  3.51" x 1.95" x 1.40" or 89.2mm x 49.7mm x 35.8mm.  The color of this Malachite is gorgeous, varying slightly in shades of rich forest green to dark green. Close examination of the matrix under magnification appears to reveal, not surprisingly, wonderful copper bearing characteristics. Only some very gentle bruising around the edges of the specimen. This is a sensational Malachite variety Fibrous piece that will be an excellent addition to your collection or to give as a gift.  147 grams.
