Built on a concept of high-quality Japanese fabrics and a commitment to authentic craftsmanship. Originally produced for many years as a ROCOCO exclusive line of JAPAN BLUE JEANS, it relaunches in 2026 under the name “Blue refabric.”

Production centers around partner factories of JAPAN BLUE JEANS. The name combines “Blue” — representing Japanese denim — with “Refabric,” a coined word blending Republic and Fabric. Inspired by the idea of a “Blue Republic,” the brand honors Japan’s textile heritage while creating garments that bring out the individuality of the wearer.

Primarily using premium denim from Okayama, each piece is carefully crafted in trusted domestic factories. The design approach is minimal yet defined, allowing the character and texture of the fabric to stand out. From “the country of fabric, Japan” to the world—Blue refabric presents a new standard rooted in respect for Japanese textiles.

Summer denim in cotton-linen
The fabric uses a 6oz cotton-linen denim. It retains a natural firmness characteristic of denim, while offering the dry touch and breathability unique to linen.

With excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, it stays comfortable even in warmer seasons. Lightweight and easy to wear, it’s a piece you’ll reach for again and again. Its airy appearance also brings a subtle sense of seasonality.







Easy construction, thoughtfully refined
The waist features an elastic band with an adjustable drawcord. The drawcord is positioned on the inside, and by omitting a front fly, the front maintains a clean, minimal appearance.





Slash pockets are placed on both sides, with an additional pocket on the right at the back, forming a simple three-pocket design that remains highly practical.



A label on the inside indicates it was made at a partner factory of JAPAN BLUE JEANS.





The silhouette is a straight fit with a well-balanced width—neither too wide nor too slim. It offers a relaxed feel without appearing bulky, making it adaptable across a range of styles.
