For sale here is a Bill Blackburn hollow-built 8'6" 3/2 6wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 4616. Excellent plus condition. All sections are full length and straight. Transparent honey colored wraps with black tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, and ferrules. Full wells grip 6 1/2" in length with only the lightest of soiling. Darkly blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a wonderful mortised Cherry burl spacer. The ferrules are size 11/64 and 17/64 with a great fit. The rod weighs 4.45 oz. The action is medium-fast. Mr. Blackburn very skillfully learned the art of rod making under the tutelage of the great Tom Morgan.
