Burgundy wraps with thin metallic gold bands in the winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-tops. Tip-top one has one gold band and tip-top two has two. Bright guides. Salmon colored agate stripping guide. Nickel silver hexagonal winding check. The full wells grip shows some marks but mostly from contact during storage with the black faux suede lining of the rod bag. Handsome, and classic cap and ring reel seat with a gorgeous mortised burlwood spacer. Etched on the bottom of the buttcap, "Tom Morgan Rodsmiths". The size 13/64 ferrule fit is perfect. The rod comes with a finely turned nickel silver ferrule plug. The rod weighs an even 4 oz. The action is medium-fast and very smooth. The original owner's name appears on the rod.

The original rod bag and tube are stunning. The bag is made of a satin-like material in a plum color with a black faux suede lining and a paisley piping around the edge. The tube is a heavy octagonal aluminum with a hammer-tone finish also in a plum color. The cap is quite handsome with knurled edges and a brass Tom Morgan Rodsmiths medallion set in the top. The tube is housed in a heavy black cotton cover with an adjustable drawstring and piping at the bottom to match the rod bag. Also, includes blank warranty information card.
