The multi-stage filter system is designed to collect the finest vapor and drop it to an easily removable bottom, allowing clean air to pass through the intake vent. How does it work? In the process of returning crankcase pressure to the intake truck, it expels a large amount of oil in the form of steam, intake tubes, and intake manifold runners, diluting the gases and lowering the octane value. This occurs in all engines and is even worse in forced induction vehicles (overcharging and turbocharging) due to increased crankcase pressure. To combat this, we have developed an oil separator of our own design. It is a solid part, milled from solid billet aluminum. It has a knurled tank base to drain used oil and an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. ⚠This product is not CARB (California Air Resources Board) exempt.
