Silex Ceramic Coating 9H Kit 100 ml – SiO2 Quartz Clear Coat Protection

Symplex® Silex 9H is an ultra-concentrated SiO2 (Quartz) ceramic clear coat specifically engineered for the professional detailer. It is designed to leave a mirror-like finish with extreme 9H hardness and strong water repellency.

The coating forms a clear, nano-crystalline protective layer that helps defend the surface from weather, chemicals, and UV rays, while repelling water, dirt, and other contaminants for a self-cleaning effect and relentless beading.

• PPF (Paint Protection Film): Silex 9H is described as performing extremely well on PPF, adding an extra layer of protection and making PPF easier to clean while enhancing gloss.

How to Apply

1. Shake well before use.
2. Pour several drops onto a suede applicator.
3. Apply to an area of approximately 3 ft x 3 ft using a cross-hatch pattern with slight overlap (also referenced as ~30% overlap) to level the product evenly.
4. Allow the coating to cure for at least 2 minutes (guidance also indicates 2–4 minutes; cure time depends on environmental conditions).
5. Gently remove excess product using a clean suede cloth or a low-nap microfiber towel. Do not apply too much pressure—the goal is to level the surface.
6. Water avoidance: Do not allow the coating to contact water for 24 hours while curing.
7. Additional coats: If applying additional coats, wait at least 1 hour between applications.
8. Do not apply in direct sunlight or to a hot surface. Always test on a small inconspicuous area first.
