Compared with the placebo group healthy participants who took 1 billion CFU daily of BB-12™ for six weeks had a significant increase in immunoglobulin (Ig) G and IgA, important first line and mucosal defences, after receiving the influenza vaccine.4 Stress, among other factors, can dampen immune responses.
