Make it 'Kermit Day' with this ProPilot X special edition

Mechanical watchmaking is a serious business and Oris has long been quite serious about it. But with the ProPilot X Kermit Edition, part of the Oris x Disney’s The Muppets collaboration, the Holstein maker is inviting the world to take a minute to enjoy 'Kermit Day,' when on the first of every month, the date window at 6 o’clock will be filled with a Kermit the Frog emoji.

Inspired by the brand's rich aviation heritage and the joy of mechanics, is the Oris ProPilot X Calibre 400 — a fully modern 39mm pilot watch with a bright green 'Kermit' dial crafted from titanium and powered by Oris' highly anti-magnetic, five-day, in-house automatic. It's a bold new horizon for the Swiss indie, and a tool watch icon in the making.

As with every movement in the Calibre 400 Series, Calibre 400 has elevated levels of anti-magnetism, a five-day power reserve and a best-in-class warranty. It’s also accurate to -3/+5 seconds a day – which would comfortably pass chronometer testing – and has 10-year recommended service intervals. 

The watch is fitted to a matching three-link titanium bracelet that's secured with the Oris-patented 'LIFT' buckle, inspired by seatbelts found in aircraft cockpits.
