Overview
LineProtect Fibra is a wired protection module for Ajax Fibra lines. It defends wired devices and the hub from electrical sabotage — short circuits, overvoltage (including 110/230 VAC applied to signal lines) and stun‑gun/high‑voltage attacks. When abnormal voltage is detected the device activates internal fuses and isolates the threatened segment, preventing damage to the rest of the system. The module reports events to the Ajax system and supports remote configuration and testing via Ajax apps.

• Tamper detection (requires mounting in an Ajax Case with tamper board).
• Audible/LED alert on module when an output‑line alarm is detected.

Use cases & installation

• Intended for indoor use and for installation by certified Ajax Fibra partners or qualified installers.
• Mount inside an Ajax Case for tamper protection and neat wiring; the module includes a tamper connector for that purpose.
• Use a 4‑core cable (recommended U/UTP Cat.5 twisted pair) for best line length and signal integrity.
• When an abnormal voltage event occurs the module will blow its internal fuses and report the event to the hub; replace fuses and inspect wiring before restoring service.

Safety & compliance
Only trained personnel should work on alarm wiring. Disconnect power at the system source before servicing wired lines.
