Blackfriar Problem Solving Primer – Multi-Purpose Stain-Sealing Primer

This multi-purpose primer is specially formulated to tackle a wide range of surfaces and common surface problems. It seals difficult stains caused by water, mould, nicotine, soot, adhesive residues, and wood tannins, while providing excellent adhesion on ceramic tiles, most plastics, MDF, and wood. Suitable for use under emulsion, gloss, or lightweight wallpapers, it ensures a smooth, reliable base for finishing coats.

Surface Preparation

Ensure surface to be coated is clean, dry, sound and free from wax, grease or any other
contamination.

Technical Data

• Contains cationic polymers that block and seal water and oil-soluble stains.
• Multi-surface adhesion on a wide range of substrates.
• Suitable for priming galvanised steel

Directions for Use

Stir thoroughly prior to use with a broad stirrer. The product may be applied by brush, roller or spray. Apply one or two coats as required.

Do not use under cold (less than 10°C), damp or humid conditions. Do not apply to damp or wet surfaces. Do not cross contaminate with other water based coatings - use clean, dry brushes and application equipment. If used as a stain blocker the surface must be completely dry. For heavy staining more than one coat may be required. Take care if
tinting - do not tint with other types of water-based paint, even some universal colourants may not be compatible - a test sample is advised.
