Unlike typical chrome-tanned or vegetable-tanned leather, oiled wax leather is infused with rich oils and waxes throughout tanning and finishing, resulting in a softer feel, enhanced flexibility, and excellent durability. Over time and with regular use, each piece gradually develops a unique patina: minor scratches naturally blend into the surface, the oils become more evenly distributed, and the color deepens to reveal a warmer, more vintage appearance.
