Teamac Metalcote Paint Enamel is a tough, flexible high-gloss enamel formulated to provide excellent durability and protection for machinery, plant and agricultural equipment.

This versatile coating offers superb resistance to oils, heat and common industrial chemicals, making it ideal for demanding environments such as workshops, farms and engineering facilities.

When applied over the recommended Metalcote Primer Undercoat, the system provides a long-lasting, hard-wearing finish with a smooth, glossy appearance that maintains colour and sheen over time.

Perfect for tractors, heavy plant, trailers and metal machinery, Metalcote ensures your equipment looks good and stays protected in even the harshest working conditions.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and contaminants.

• Bare Metal: Degrease thoroughly and remove all rust, scale or oxidation before priming with Teamac Metalcote Primer Undercoat.

• Previously Painted Surfaces: Clean, degrease and lightly abrade to create a key. Remove all loose or flaking material and treat exposed metal as new.

• Wood or Other Substrates: Ensure surfaces are smooth, clean and fully dry. Prime as necessary to ensure good adhesion.

Directions for Use

1. Stir well before and during use to maintain consistency.

2. Apply by brush, roller or airless spray.

3. If required, thin by up to 10 % with Teamac Thinners 14.

4. Apply evenly at approx. 85 µm WFT (35–40 µm DFT).

5. Touch dry: 2 hours @ 20 °C.

6. Hard dry: 8 hours @ 20 °C.

7. Recoat: After 8 hours or overnight.

8. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid humid or cold conditions.
