Blue refabric
A brand defined by a commitment to high-quality Japanese textiles and refined craftsmanship. Originally developed for many years as a ROCOCO exclusive project by Japan Blue Jeans, it was relaunched in 2026 under the name “Blue refabric.” Production is carried out primarily by partner factories of Japan Blue Jeans. The name combines “Blue,” symbolizing Japanese denim, with “Refabric,” a coined term merging “Republic” and “Fabric.” Built around the concept of a “Blue Republic,” the brand honors Japan’s rich textile heritage while offering garments that enhance the individuality of the wearer.

Crafted from 8oz selvedge black denim woven on vintage shuttle looms.

Both warp and weft use black yarns, creating a deeper, richer tone compared to standard black denim.



While denim can often trap heat in warmer seasons, this fabric offers a light, dry touch, ensuring comfort throughout the year.





Thoughtful Details
The front features a zipper closure for easy wear. The top button is engraved with the Blue refabric logo.



A classic five-pocket design—simple and timeless.



The back features an original Blue refabric leather patch, reflecting attention to detail throughout.

The patch is made from natural leather, allowing it to age beautifully alongside the denim.



Rolling up the hem reveals the selvedge edge—a signature of vintage shuttle loom weaving—adding a subtle, refined accent to your styling.

This detail, originally designed to prevent fraying at the fabric edge, is now cherished by denim enthusiasts as a hallmark of heritage craftsmanship.
