Requirements

• 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 Ford Super Duty Trucks (F-250 F-350 F-450 F-550)
• Diesel engine ONLY

Special Notes

• If High Idle is canceled for any reason, the ignition will need to be cycled before it can be engaged again
• * * * TIP - Apply parking brake before exiting the truck and High Idle mode will engage when you use remote start if the proper conditions are met * * *

All of the following conditions must be met for the High Idle Kit to operate properly

• Engine coolant temp must be above 20 degrees F
• Transmission temp must be above 20 degrees F
• Engine must be at stable RPM speed
• Vehicle speed is zero
• Vehicle must be in park or neutral
• Foot off gas pedal
• Foot off brake pedal
• Parking brake must be engaged

Any of the following will disable/cancel the High Idle operation

• Engine temp exceeds 234 degrees F
• Transmission temp exceeds 240 degrees F
• Gas pedal is pressed
• Brake pedal is pressed
• Parking brake is disengaged
• Vehicle is taken out of park or neutral
• Certain engine trouble codes are present
