Perhaps one of the most recognizable pieces of furniture in existence today, we are extremely excited to bring you a Noguchi coffee table! 

This classic table authorized by the Isamu Noguchi Foundation was originally created in 1944. The brilliantly simple design consists of only three elements, the glass top and two interlocking wood base pieces. The table is an extraordinary harmony of form and function.

The table is just three pieces. A 3/4-inch plate-glass top rests on two curved, solid wood legs that interlock to form a tripod for self-stabilizing support. 

This unit does not have a signature or etching indicating it is authentic and is likely an aftermarket reproduction. There is a chip missing at the joint between the two pieces of wood but it does not affect the structural integrity or style of the piece. There is also a small chip on one edge of the glass which has been carefully sanded with fine sand paper to remove any rough edges.
