Love Some Story is Hightide's first original book.

Why do we "love" what we love? It is not only the color, shape, and touch, but also with something else? 

For two years, "Love Some Story" has been shared to all customers who have shopped at Hightide stores,  — a collection of short stories, each paired with a single photograph. Now, these 12 stories, inspired by 12 themes that represent Hightide’s sense of “love,” have been compiled into a single book.

The photographs, which stir memories of some time and place, were taken by world-traveling photographer Isao Nishiyama. These images are woven together with emotionally rich short stories, specially written by editor Mitsuharu Yamamura.

True to Hightide’s dedication to quality objects, the book also includes a large-format handkerchief printed with one of the beautiful photographs. A perfect gift, or a special treat for yourself.

Each book is packaged in a custom cardboard box. The lid opens to reveal a book wrapped in a large handkerchief, printed with a beautiful photograph. The book has a plain white hardcover with stamped title and credits on the front cover, spine and back cover.
