Horology By The Sea is thrilled to present this fine example of Vianney Halter's Classic with a well preserved case in 18 karat rose gold. Limited to just 250 pieces across all variants, this rare timepiece, launched in 2001, is a testament to Vianney Halter’s pioneering spirit in independent watchmaking and penchant towards a steampunk aesthetic.

The multi-layered dial is a work of art, blending frosted and polished surfaces with hand-engraved elements. The silver dial, with carved numerals and a textured center, offers a three-dimensional allure, while flame-blued hands curve gracefully to minimize parallax. Every detail, from the anglaged edges to the hand-finished hands, reflects Halter’s obsessive attention to craft.

The 36mm rose gold case exudes warmth and sophistication, adorned with meticulously hand-fitted gold rivets along the bezel, evoking the portholes of a Jules Verne-inspired vessel. The crown features rivets of solid gold is truly one of the best in terms of both visual and tactile sensation.

Underneath the sapphire caseback lies a heavily modified Lemania 8810 movement featuring Halter's signature "mystery rotor" - a sapphire disk with a peripheral metal ring that allows an unobstructed view of the intricate mechanics. The movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz and carries a 40-hour power reserve.

The 18 karat rose gold case is in excellent condition and measures 36mm x 10mm x 46mm lug-to-lug. Furnished on a OEM black alligator strap with original Vianney Halter rose gold pin buckle. Complete with the original Box, Operating Manual with purchase date of 5/8/2008, and polishing cloth.
