For sale here is a 3 1/2" Hardy Perfect wide drum fly reel from the pre-WWII era (made in the late 1920s), complete with rotating nickel silver line guard. The reel is in excellent overall condition. The brass reel foot is either a replacement or it has been very neatly trimmed to accommodate modern reel seats. No chips, cracks, or line grooves. Excellent spool/spindle fit. The spool screw shows a bit of buggering. The winding plate was professionally engraved with the original owner's name and city as well as the year of production.
