LineGene Strep B Test Kit

The LineGene Strep B test kit from BIOER is used for the qualitative detection of Streptococcus B in anal or vaginal swabs. The test can be automatically evaluated with various systems from the manufacturer, including the LineGene MINI S. All reagents included in the kit are ready-to-use, so sample preparation requires only a few pipetting steps.

The test serves as an aid in the diagnosis of a Streptococcus B infection. Especially pregnant women should have a Streptococcus B test as a precaution. Normally, the bacterium does not cause any symptoms in the expectant mother, but it can be transmitted to the baby during birth. The pathogen causes various diseases, such as tonsillitis or scarlet fever.

The reaction vessels used remain closed continuously after the preparation phase. Aerosol formation, which is associated with a high risk of infection and contamination, is thus excluded. The reliable PCR results are already available after 1 hour.

Therefore, we not only store the test kits in freezers at the optimal temperature, but also have the kits transported refrigerated. Here, we also focus on sustainability: the goods are transported in reusable refrigerated containers that you can simply return to us using the enclosed return slip (DPD). We then use these for further transports and thus avoid the use of dry ice and polystyrene.

After receiving the goods, please make sure that you store them at -25 to -15 °C. If not stored properly, the validity of the results cannot be guaranteed.
