For sale here we have a stunning Ron Kusse "Midge Special" 6'6" 2/2 for a 3 weight line. Serial no. 8420. The rod is in mint condition, with the one exception being bluing loss to the reel seat hardware likely caused by rubbing against the heavy canvas rod bag. 

Transparent honey-toned wraps. Chestnut wraps at the ferrules. Chestnut and burgundy tipping at the winding check. Blued guides. Octagonal nickel silver winding check. The cigar grip and reel seat spacer are a single piece of gorgeous burl walnut. The grip section measures 5 1/4" in length. Blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat with "Ron Kusse Maker" engraved on the butt cap.

The ferrules are size 13/64 with a perfect fit. The rod weighs in at 3.30 oz. The action is on the fast side of medium-fast. The rod includes the original bag with hang-tag and stiffening dowel and original tube with brass fittings.
