For sale here is an outstanding Don Schroeder Quad bamboo fly rod - 7'6" 3/2 for a 5 weight line. Near mint+ condition as the rod was fished once. Serial No. 52210. Tempered cane, oxidized nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a fine burlwood spacer. Oxidized ferrules and guides, chestnut brown silks with darker brown tipping, fine knurled ferrule plugs turned from brass, and a ring hook-keeper. Agate stripping guide. Cigar grip with the nose formed to match the quad shape of the rod. The ferrule fit is excellent. The rod weighs 3 7/8oz. Very nice action on the faster side of medium-fast. Comes with original bag with stiffener and labeled tube with brass fittings. Another very nice rod from Mr. Schroeder.
