The work of artist Ula Saniawa explores the idea of accumulation, combining seemingly identical but unique hand-crafted porcelain elements. The Depth comprises hundreds of curved, petal-like pieces in different sizes that are suspended from the ceiling with delicate micro-wires. Ula pushes the boundaries of porcelain production, creating elements that are so thin they become translucent. Arranging the pieces in a fluid composition together with light sources creates a mesmerising and dynamic effect that animates the space.
