Let us set up a nocking point to your bow string.

Material: Red serving string (includes 1 meter of serving string)

We set up your nocking point for thumb archery, at 20mm above your arrow pass. (Nock your arrow below, and against this nocking point on the string)

This is a starting point, with a generous amount of distance above your hand, for the arrow to pass without scratching you.

Once you are comfortable with your technique, adjust the nocking point down as far as you can, without the arrow scratching your hand when shooting. This can be done by turning the nocking point like a nut on a bolt, and it will move down the serving on the string.
