(cherrywood; from a .45 ha parcel of 100+ year old vines). A cool, airy and even spicier nose is composed by ultra-pure red berries and exotic jasmine tea. There is a lovely energy suffusing the refined and detailed medium-bodied flavors that terminate in a beautifully long if decidedly serious, compact and moderately austere finale that also reflects a trace of warmth. This needs to develop better depth but that shouldn’t be an issue provided one is sufficiently patient.
