Compared to paper filters, it has higher durability, can be washed as many times as you like, and maintains its performance semi-permanently. While the stock filter removes dirt up to about 95 microns, the FLO oil filter actually removes dirt up to about 35 microns. Furthermore, it can pass about 7 times the amount of oil flowing through a paper filter with less pressure, reducing the burden on the oil pump and contributing to reducing power loss.
