Grayish, clay colored blank, rust orange wraps with fine black tipping. Blued guides as well as all other hardware on the rod. Agate stripping guide. Spigot ferrules. The female ferrules feature a knurled nickel silver band around them to aid in strength of the ferrules and prevent cracking. The fit is excellent. Knurled nickel-silver winding check. Modified full-wells grip with a ring of burled cork near the top to accent the grip. Only the slightest of soiling is present on the grip. Cap and ring reel seat with a beautiful mortised spalted maple spacer with a cork/spalted maple butt cap. Rod weighs 3 5/8 oz. The rod has a lovely action that Larry Kenney is known for. Medium-fast - authoritative yet delicate. A true all-around trout rod. Includes original bag and tube.
