The Glow Toner is a liquid exfoliant which uses a gentle but effective concentration of 3% Glycolic acid, combined with soothing botanicals like rice bran, aloe vera and calendula. These skin-loving ingredients work together to eradicate texture, unclog pores, encourage skin renewal, regulate sebum production and smooth fine lines. An all-in-one skincare step!

DIRECTIONS: 

Apply to dry, cleansed skin. Follow with a moisturiser. Use sunscreen during AM. Recommended for use on the face 2-4 times a week. For sensitive skin types and those new to chemical exfoliation, start using once a week and build up frequency if needed.

INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN: 

- 3% Glycolic Acid: An alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) extracted from sugarcane. Glycolic acid stimulates dead skin cell breakdown, improving fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, texture, as well as acne. It's the AHA with the smallest molecular size, so it works deep within the dermal layer of your skin to promote collagen production, resulting in firmer and tighter appearing skin. Its antioxidant properties protect the skin against free radicals and sun damage, while its hydrophilic activity increases hydration by retaining moisture within the skin, leading to a plump look. 

- Rice Bran Extract: Derived from the Oryza sativa plant, also known as rice. Rice bran extract is powered with antioxidants that help fight pollution and absorb UV rays at low concentrations. It is a skin-conditioning agent that increases hydration within the skin, soothes inflammation and prevents aging, leading to a supple appearance. 

- Aloe Vera Extract: Extracted from the leaves of Aloe Vera, this ingredient replenishes the skin by improving water content in the stratum corneum. Its wound-healing and antioxidant properties treat sunburn, soothe redness, and protect the skin against free radicals.  

- Calendula Extract: Extracted from Calendula officinalis L, this ingredient contains bioactive compounds, particularly phenols, that boost its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It aids physiological regeneration of tissue to support wound-healing, improve skin elasticity, and slow aging. 

- Panthenol: A derivative of pantothenic acid, panthenol is a form of Vitamin B5. It is a humectant that maintains skin moisture and enhances lipid synthesis to repair barrier function. 

- Sodium Hyaluronate: The salt form of hyaluronic acid. This is a humectant that retains skin moisture, repairs barrier function and improves wrinkles. Sodium hyaluronate works as an antioxidant to calm redness and soothe itchy skin. It speeds cell motility, anti-aging, and wound-healing.
