■A meter that measures the pressure inside the intake manifold for NA engine vehicles. Unlike conventional vacuum gauges, it has a positive pressure scale as well as a negative pressure scale, so it can also measure inertial boost pressure (RAM pressure) using the running wind. ■In NA cars, when the accelerator is pressed to the maximum, the pressure is normally 0 kPa and the air is released to the atmosphere. Since the pointer responds instantly according to the accelerator, it can also be used as a guide for engine response and economical driving. ■An ADVANCE control unit is required separately to operate the meters and displays of the ADVANCE system.
