These smart, practical steps make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. Neatly stowed under the sills, the side steps automatically deploy as soon as the door is opened, or when activated by the key fob. They stow automatically when the door is closed. The side steps are sensitive to obstructions. Automatic mode can be overridden to allow access to the roof when the doors are closed. The deployable side steps are compatible with front and rear mudflaps and feature a stainless steel finish with laser etched Discovery branding. For fitment the following part numbers are required: For Pre 21MY vehicles: Side Step Right Side - VPLRP0363, Side Step Left Side - VPLRP0362, Mounting Bracket and Motor Kit Left Side - VPLRP0349, Mounting Bracket and Motor Kit Right Side - VPLRP0348, Harness - VPLRP0328, Module - VPLRP0361 and Fender Cladding Kit - VPLRP0358. For 21MY onwards vehicles: side step left side, side step right side, left side step mounting bracket and motor, right side step mounting bracket and motor, harness, module, module backet, module fixing nut (four required), module fixing bolt (two required), fender cladding kit and side step spacer kit. Please note: the nut and bolt are sold individually. Fifteen components in total are required for fitment. Fitting of side steps may affect the all-terrain capability of the vehicle.
