16" Bronze Mirror with a 24" diameter compressor stator from an Mc Donnell Douglas MD80 engine. The C10 stator has been sandblasted and powder coated to expose the raw details of this magnificent piece of engine ingenuity. AIRPLANE USE:

The stator consists of a row of blades in a circle formation and is found in DC9 and MD80 series aircraft engines. The stators help convert high-velocity air into high pressure inside the compressor fan, a section of the engine.
