Cast in Jesmonite with a Portland finish and handpainted in gold leaf, the original Breath carving was made in Welsh slate for a friend's birthday as the pandemic lockdown in the UK was beginning to ease and it was possible to spend more time together again. The title, Samar, comes from Arabic, meaning 'to sit together in conversation at sunset'. Wilson's stone work is strikingly modern yet timelss allowing it to blend into a variety of settings.
