Extreme Stock Body Carburetor:

Extensively modified, stock-appearing carburetor that produces the most HP possible utilizing a stock carb body.

All Stage 4 carbs are dyno-tested before shipping. Dyno testing shows these carbs to produce up to 1.0+ HP more than the standard bored (stock butterfly) and over 2+ HP more than a stock carb with only marginal loss in low-end and idle quality.
Venturi is CNC milled and is oval shaped to maximize volume and velocity. Equivalent bore size (area) is greater than a .670" bore

Performance Information
The PVL flywheel fin design allows it to move a very high volume of air. It is recommended that you leave only 1 of the blower housing recoil air intakes open. If more cooling is desired, then the tape can be removed. The engine will perform best when you have the right amount of cooling to keep the engine from reaching an excessive temperature.

Ignition Timing
The flywheel works with the standard OEM clone coil with a recommended coil gap of .038-.040". The running timing with a straight-up key is 28 degrees.

POWERMAX UPGRADE IS SUPPLIED WITH 6 DEGREE KEY fitted in retard position to set the timing at 22degrees.

Testing of the PVL Flywheel
PVL, the manufacturer, tested the flywheel at 17,000rpm, and an independent company in the USA tested the flywheel at 15,000rpm for 60 minutes, both without failure. These tests do not verify or guarantee the safety, suitability, use, or the fitness of this flywheel. Racing is dangerous, and exploding parts can cause injury or death.
