Frank Cornelissen is expanding his portfolio to include white wines, and this is one of his latest creations. Made from a blend of Carricante and Grecanico Dorato (on their original roots), the 2021 Munjebel Bianco VA shows a dark golden color with copper highlights. It has the aromas you'd expect of a natural wine, with candied orange and butterscotch over a medium texture with tannic bite to close. Fruit comes from the Tartaraci vineyard at 1,000 meters above sea level and the Zacchino Pietre site at 920 meters in elevation. Production is just 1,000 bottles.
