Founded in 1952 in Nara, Japan, known for its footwear, HEP continues to evolve its sandals, traditionally loved as house slippers in Japanese households, with updates that carry them into the future.









Light and Soft Fabric
The upper is made from lightweight, waterproof artificial leather, constructed with a polyurethane resin on the surface and a nonwoven fabric layer inside, creating a structure and appearance similar to natural leather.

Compared to genuine leather, this material is easy to clean with water or dry wipes and is highly resistant to stains, maintaining its appearance over time.





Comfortable Walking Support
The footbed features thick sponge padding, providing a soft yet firm feel that reduces fatigue even during prolonged wear.



The toe area is reinforced with a stiffening material that prevents deformation, enhancing stability while walking.



The heel is slightly raised, which reduces slipping compared to flat designs, preventing the sandals from slipping off while walking.



The sole is made from a flexible and lightweight custom polyurethane, ensuring comfort and ease of walking, even during the winter when heavier footwear can weigh you down.
