For sale here is a Maxwell-era H.L. Leonard Duracane bamboo rod - 7'6" 2/2 for a five weight line. The rod is in excellent original condition. All sections are full length and without repair. Both tips have very slight sets from use. 

Impregnated cane with transparent honey colored wraps. The winding check, ferrules, and tip-tops are wrapped in a dark cinnamon with honey and black tipping. The distinct Tom Maxwell script remains clean and bold. Ring hook keeper. Petite cigar grip 5" in length with moderate soiling. The cork is void of any ridging or other defects. Blued nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a mortised butternut spacer. Most of the bluing has worn away leaving a handsome patina. The ferrules are size 12/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 3.15 oz. The rod has a crisp and light medium-fast dry-fly action. The fine tips allow for considerable finesse and tippet protection. 

Includes original bag with stiffening dowel and leather tab as well as the original tube with brass fittings.
