For sale here is a Phillipson Preferred impregnated bamboo rod - 8'0" 3/2 for a 5-6wt line. The rod is in excellent original condition with the exception of slight sets in the tips. Dark impregnated cane, beautiful and classic Phillipson wraps - deep gold with black tipping. Full wells grip 6 1/2" in length and moderately soiled. Burnt orange anodized aluminum down-locking reel seat. There is some light wear around the rim of the butt cap. The nickel silver ferrules are size 10/64 and 16/64 with a good fit. The rod weighs 4.55 oz. with a terrific medium-dast dry fly action; swift with delicate tips and a stout butt. A great Western rod that is capable of just about any trout situation you throw at it. Includes replacement bag and original tube.
