Details: A sweet Victorian 15k heart locket holds three natural pearls in engraved settings. The interior opens to reveal an original gold frame with carved crystal glass holding an early photograph of the original owner's horse. The locket is bloomed giving the gold a soft matte finish that contrasts beautifully with the pearl's luster. The interior photo can easily be removed and replaced with a loved one's image. The locket has a clean back and interior, perfect for an engraved message. 

Lockets such as this one are becoming increasingly difficult to find, but we adore them and are always on the look out. Lockets were all the mode during the sentimental Victorian and Edwardian eras where jewelry and flowers expressed your feelings in ways that words could not.  

Measurements: The locket is just over 1 " long, including bale, by .6" in wide, weighing 5.2 grams.
