Apollo 55000-400APO — XP95 addressable fixed-temperature heat detector (A2S). A loop-powered heat detector that monitors ambient temperature using a single NTC thermistor and reports an alarm at approximately 55°C. Designed for locations where smoke detection is unsuitable such as dusty, oily, or high-airflow environments.

• Fixed-temperature heat classification: ≈55°C (A2S).
• XP95 / Discovery addressable protocol — loop-powered (17–28 V DC).
• Single NTC thermistor with continuous sampling for reliable heat response.
• Low air-flow white polycarbonate housing (self-extinguishing) with stainless / nickel-plated terminals.
• Integral red alarm LED and remote indicator terminals (+R / −R).
• Low quiescent current — suitable for addressable loops.

Where to use: suitable for kitchens, car parks, warehouses, plant rooms and other areas where smoke detectors are inappropriate (dusty/dirty or high-airflow locations).

• Detector mounts on a compatible XP95 base (base sold separately) — ensure correct base is specified.
• IP rating reported variably by vendors (IP43 / IP53) — confirm the required protection level from the datasheet for your installation.
• Approvals: EN54-5 and other approvals (LPCB/CPR) shown by manufacturer — check datasheet for certificates required by your region.
• Installation and commissioning must be performed by a competent person in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and local fire regulations. Isolate circuit power before wiring.
