FOB FACTORY
A brand inspired by vintage clothing, rooted in workwear, military, and denim. Based in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama—one of Japan’s leading production hubs—FOB FACTORY carries out every step of production domestically. Their aim is simple: to create garments that customers will be glad they chose even three years down the line.

Denim, uniquely refined by FOB.
FOB’s newly developed 14oz selvedge denim, made with Cameroonian cotton, features a subtle stretch. It may not be obvious at first touch, but the ease of movement becomes clear when worn—whether reaching forward or rotating the shoulders.
Cameroonian cotton is characterized by its long, fine fibers. Hand-picked to retain natural oils, it offers excellent durability. Comfortable and built to last, it represents a denim fabric suited to modern needs.
The reverse side of the front placket reveals a glimpse of selvedge—the signature red line along the fabric edge.
This piece faithfully reproduces period details.
The refined, compact collar is characteristic of early “1st” and WWII-era models. As suggested by the term “blouse” in its name, the design traces back to its origins as a shirt-based garment.
An original deerskin patch at the back of the neck evokes the spirit of vintage models.
The front pleats, secured with box stitching, were originally made to be undone, allowing wearers to adjust the fit to their body.
Donut buttons engraved with laurel wreaths are used on the front and cuffs. During wartime, material restrictions led to the adoption of simplified donut buttons, yet the laurel engraving was said to preserve a sense of refinement.
A single chest pocket without a flap is placed on the left side. Originally, this design limited what workers could carry into coal mines, resulting in a single-pocket specification.
Tucks on both sides of the yoke provide greater range of motion around the arms.
At the waist, a cinch back is included—originally designed to prevent the jacket from shifting during work.
Sizes 40 and above feature a detail known as the “T-back” panel. This reproduces the manufacturing constraints of the era, when larger sizes could not be cut from a single piece of fabric.
The body width is slightly relaxed, while the short, boxy silhouette remains true to the original. Designed as workwear with room for movement, it naturally integrates into modern styling.
