For sale here is a Joe Saracione Limited Edition fly reel. EVH Tobique 1/0. Unused condition.

Back in the 1990's Joe announced he was making a limited edition of Edward vom Hofe styled reels. First was to be fifty 1/0 Tobique salmon reels, followed by fifty No. 2 Perfection trout reels. These were all pre-sold out and serial numbers were chosen by the purchasers. Well as things happen, Joe only made twenty of the 1/0 reels and only eight of the No. 2 Perfection reels.

These are flawless reproductions made of highly polished hard rubber and nickel silver. Each comes with a hard leather Arne Mason case embossed with "Saracione" and the model number. The reel is right hand retrieve. 3 3/16" diameter, 1 5/16" cross pillar width, 2:1 ratio multiplier, rear 7-position drag, two rolling cross pillars, bronze spindle. Weight 10 oz. Capacity WF8/DT7 plus 100 yds 30# backing.
