Ripe and again reasonably fresh aromas include those of various dark berries, warm earth and discreet floral wisps. The rich, concentrated and solidly powerful larger-scaled flavors are also somewhat grippy and quite serious though in this case there is a reasonable chance this will age out successfully. With that said, this is unlikely to make for especially interesting early drinking.
