An impressive rectangular step-cut morganite ring. Set to centre a 17.30 carat morganite of wonderful saturation and transparency. The pink gemstone is claw-set in a 14ct rose gold mount with an open back-holing. Foliate gold-work is crafted into leaf motifs and set on the shoulders and gallery of the ring, completing it beautifully. Circa 1950, tested 14ct rose gold.
