Surface Preparation

• Surface must be clean, dry and free from oil, grease and contaminants

• Remove all loose or flaking material

• Blast cleaning to SA 2½ is recommended for optimal adhesion

• If blasting isn’t possible, mechanically abrade to a suitable key

• Use Coo-Var Degreaser before de-rusting

• Clean welds, bolts, corners and spatter before coating
