Designer Matti Klenell took his inspiration for Nappula from an awkwardly shaped table with ‘swollen’ legs. It reminded Klenell of a classic form regularly found in the works by design masters like Oiva Toikka and Kaj Franck. Klenell’s interpretation of the table resulted in Nappula’s signature silhouette.
