The Ace Brand Tees accompanied a series of ‘playing card’ styled / inspired A3 prints some of which were initially used as promo for the X / Ace rebrand, and later some were sold via Ace and / or TDR™. The tees were print-appropriate character-led reduxes of the print designs. The Jack Of Clubs proved to be by far the most popular print, and when Ace launched the collection, a best selling tee.

Emerald Green was a trending colour at the time so Ace wanted to go with that rather than the turquoise of the print. Most of the range was also printed on light grey tees for the same reason.

I think the print run for each colour way would have been 100 given that sales were primarily through one or two physical retail outlets.
