Northwest Africa 11757 (NWA 11757) is a fascinating ureilite meteorite recovered from the deserts of Morocco and acquired in September 2017. This rare coarse-grained ultramafic rock displays a striking metamorphic texture, formed by the high-temperature processes that shaped its olivine and pyroxene mineral grains.

Olivine crystals show reverse zoning with magnesium-rich edges, while metal inclusions—now partly oxidized due to terrestrial weathering—are visible along grain boundaries. The moderate weathering and shock stage give insight into the meteorite's journey through space and impact on Earth.
